My current provider is us cellular and i had the lg rumor slider phone with the qwerty keyboard. It kept breaking, so us cellular said they would give me a new phone. They gave me then choice of a lg rhythm, lg wine, motorola hint, or samsung gloss.

I really want to get the samsung delve or new lg tritan, but i don’t want to pay for the required internet plan thing.

If i’m not too excited about the choice of phones they’re giving me, do you think us cellular would let me get an unlocked phone? is it safe to get one? and if it is possible to get an unlocked phone, what are some tips to find one?
