One of my dearest friends is having a handfasting ceremony this Friday. I wanted to make her something, and thought it would be nice to buy some wine glasses and etch something special on them for her special day. I was thinking of doing one (one for each) for her and her man with names, the date, a pentagram, and maybe to a pair of holding hands or something. I have been doing some searching about glass etching, which I have never done before (did get a kit from local craft store), and I have also been searching for Wicca stencils onlline. I haven't had too much luck. I was wondering if anyone could give me some tips on glass etching, and maybe any sites that offer free printable stencils (Wicca).

I am also wondering about the pentagram. If I chose to put one on there, and even if I make my own stencil, I am thinking I am going to have to do it in two parts because of the star and then the circle.

I use clear contact paper and cut my own stencils if I cannot find a design I like. Your right about having to cut two stencils for some designs. Be sure to make a center mark on the glass and on the designs so you can line everything up.
